Fresh Conversations
Fresh Conversations is a free opportunity to connect with other older adults for a friendly discussion focused on nutrition and physical activity education. Need time to focus on becoming a healthier you? Fresh Conversations includes a newsletter and chat with your friends and a SNAP-Ed nutrition educator. Monthly topics are to help you maintain good health, independence, and healthy nutrition choices.
Chisholm Trail District SNAP-Ed offers a monthly nutrition and health education program in various locations around the district of Dickinson and Marion Counties. The program is called "Fresh Conversations" and is designed for adults 60+ to have an informal and relaxed fellowship while we discuss current nutrition, physical activity, and other health topics. K-State Research and Extension SNAP-Ed program welcomes older adults in and around our communities to attend our monthly programs. All the Fresh Conversation programs are free and no registration is needed . The program is less than an hour and sometimes even includes a taste test of a recipe or a prize!
